No. Everything happens on your computer. PDFRivet only goes online to check for a new version, and you can turn that off.
The installers aren't code-signed yet; that's coming. On Windows, choose “More info” and then “Run anyway”. On macOS, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”.
PDFRivet checks for a new version once a day and asks before installing it. You can also choose “Check for updates…” in the menu.
Version 0.1 reads PDFs, fills in forms, prints, and edits a document's title and author. Highlights, signatures and page tools come in the next versions.
